The complete removal of existing services, fit-out and modification of existing systems to the refurbished Sales Floor area of the Debenhams Store, Guildford.The installation of a new media world, internet café, entrance atrium, customer restaurant and complete new generator to the sales areas.
The complete electrical installation comprises of lighting, small power, fire alarm system, CCTV system and satellite/TV systems etc. During the refurbishment programme, approximately half of each sales floor was closed sequentially over 5 phases, whilst all other trading areas remained open to the public at all times. Both existing and new systems remained operational in parallel until such time as the existing system was completely removed.
The Debenhams Store, which occupies one of the prime sites in Guildford comprises four trading floors and two ‘back of house’ with underground carpark and entrances via a subway. This store was a flagship refurbishment and during the programme, sales figures exceeded the previous year´s totals. As each half floor was completed, it was opened to the public. The project was completed on time and to the Client´s satisfaction.
