To strip out and refurbish three floors of a six storey building situated on Market Street in Manchester´s busy city centre, three floors being used as a retail outlet for Primark. Each floor has an area of approximately 2,500 sq ft and 100% of the ground floor being used as sales area. 50% of the first floor being used as sales area and the other as fallow area with the second floor used for administration and stock.
Works involved the complete design and installation of the lighting and emergency lighting, submains distribution, small power distribution, mechanical containment and wiring, fire alarm installation and telephone and data wiring.
Targeted at the young, fashion conscious under 35's, this high street retailer demands high standards in keeping with their corporate image. The works were undertaken whilst maintaining existing services to areas occupied by other retailers.
In addition to the phased handover of first and second floor areas, works continued to the ground floor.
