Project Description

Situated in Birmingham city centre, this 280,000 sq ft, Cat 13 fit out development for Royal Bank of Scotland, involved works not only in buildings 7, 8 and 10 (the core buildings) but also to existing RBS premises at 6 Brindley Place. The fit out comprised of the adaption of existing electrical services and installation of new systems to suit the new office areas IT rooms wiring closets, vending, kitchens, staff restaurant and reception areas situated throughout the eight upper floors, eleven ground floor areas and three basement levels.

Scope of works

The electrical installation comprised of modification to existing general lighting and small power additional down lighting and cold cathode feature lighting to the ground floor staff / restaurant and vending areas on seven upper floors. Modular wiring facilitated the wiring throughout including services to nine wiring closets and main comms room.

Project Overview

The fit out works for Royal Bank of Scotland were carried out to exacting time scales to meet a defects free strategy. The project was on time and met the needs of the client to accept occupation.
